i am not a tourist Fair to attract thousands of expats
Expatica's annual "i am not a tourist" fair offers free resources, information, networking opportunities and entertainment to internationals living in the Netherlands. The event will be taking place in Amsterdam on Sunday, 10 October at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. This one day fair is intended for internationals to get information, meet with expatriate-oriented service providers and network with thousands of like minded internationals.

Over 55 companies will be available to offer advice for expats still finding their way in The Netherlands, covering topics as divers as employment, housing, relocation, taxes and banking. In addition, approximately 35 groups, clubs, schools and universities will be present. Visitors can attend informative presentations on the 30% tax ruling, job hunting, mortgages, and how to succeed abroad.
'"i am not a tourist" 2010 will offer invaluable resources for newcomers, as well as entertainment and a wealth of information on a range of cultural pursuits, for those who have already settled in,' says Event Manager Danielle de Groot. 'In this respect, "i am not a tourist" 2010 is a fair for beginners and experienced internationals alike.'
This year’s fair will host a mini SpeedDate, wine tastings, and presentations on meditation and public speaking. There will also be workshops on improv comedy, salsa, and chocolate and sushi making. And don't hesitate to bring the family along, as we have a dedicated kids corner, managed by the professional staff of CompaNanny!
'It’s always a great time for everybody,' said Managing Partner Mark Welling. 'Whether they are a newcomer, a single person, a family or someone that is only on temporary assignment, attendees will surely walk away with something extra.'
