Long Legs Dance Club-School is giving an Intensive Weekend Workshop in collaboration with Stichting Apes Container - movement for primitive approach - on 17 and 18 April 2010.

Two days of workshops for children and adults of Modern dance, Improvisation and Instant composition.
Eight hours a day, in three classes, to experience different sides of dance and body awareness, to enjoy the freedom on moving (The workshop will end with a presentation on Sunday at 17:00).

After five years of activity, Long Legs is working now in collaboration with a Stichting of young artist, based in Rotterdam.

The aim is to offer a stimulating and deeper knowledge of the art of dance, thus stimulating the sensibilities of , especially, younger generation through regular workshops by guest teachers.

Especially created for international teenagers in 2004, Long Legs Dance Club-School is a modern dance club for young English-speaking teenagers. Valeria Cosi, a graduate from the Rotterdam Dance Academy, is the Long Legs teacher since January 2009. As she is part of the Stichting Apes container, she decided to create a collaboration between this two realities.

Apes container is a collective of young artists from different nationalities, graduated from Dutch Conservatories and Universities in several disciplines, such as dance, music, environmental sciences, psychological studies, eurythmy.

Long Legs Participants will benefit from Valeria’s, Eugenia's and Elisa's extensive experience and teaching style.

• Modern dance class (with Valeria Cosi)

Group 1 ( age 6-10) 10:00-12:00
Group 2 (age 11-13) 12:30-14:30

• Improvisation and Instant composition (with M.Eugenia Demeglio and Elisa Martinuzzi)

Adults (age 16-76) 15:00-18:00
