Waterpop 2010
Saturday, 14 August presents another stellar opportunity to take in a free music concert with the 33rd edition of Waterpop.
Since its inception in 1978, Waterpop has grown from a one band show to the three stage festival it is today. One thing that has not changed is the venue, straight across from the windmill of Hofpark, Wateringen. With former alumnus like Radiohead, Faithless, and The Darkness, Waterpop is quite a serious event.

This year’s lineup includes: The Deaf, Go Back To The Zoo, Peter Pan Speedrock, Blaudzun, Dÿse, Pure Reason Revolution, Blue Grass Boogiemen, Cassette Kids, Saint Jude, Buster Shuffle, Irieginal Abraham and the Dirk Scheele & Band.
Aside from the music, there will be a market with around 30 different stalls selling clothing, jewellery, CDs, food and more. There will also be music and loads of activities for the kids, making this free festival a great day out for the whole family.
The festival kicks off at 12:00 and ends at 23:00. Mark your route to the Hofpark in Wateringen.
