Prepare for a chorus of ooohhing and aaahhing at the 31st International Fireworks Festival at Scheveningen. Over three days from Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th of August, you can marvel at spectacular pyrotechnics during the annual festival held at the prominent Van der Valk Pier.

This year Canada, France, England, Belgium and Germany undertake to eclipse each other in an international contest with stunningly choreographed displays. The Scheveningen sky will be illuminated twice each evening with epic shows at 10pm and 11pm, and a winner will be announced on the final evening.

Fireworks are lit by the pier and are easily visible from the promenade and beach. Picture the wonderful spectacle of vibrant rockets, sparkling fountains, and iridescent lights against a black Scheveningen sky. This will be awesome summer entertainment so join the festive vibe at Scheveningen.

Scheveningen is accessible by HTM lines 1, 9 and 11 (tram) or with 21, 22 and 23 (bus.) There will be some additional public transport services until 1:00am on Friday and Saturday of the festival. For information about public transport contact HTM on 070-384 86 66 or visit www.htm.net.
