Schollenpop 2010: Free beach pop festival!
Schollenpop 2010, one of The Hague's biggest free pop festivals, takes place this summer on the dunes of Scheveningen’s Zuiderstrand (South Beach) on Saturday 7 August from 12:00.

Sun, sea, sand and, of course, live pop and rock music are what visitors can expect to see from the 14th edition of this annually successful music festival, which, next to Parkpop, is fast becoming the second largest free pop festival in The Hague.
This year, the “locals only” line-up features acts by Caro Emerald, Fiction Plane, Sepultura, Bettie Serveert, Customs, Destine and Ralf Mackenbach, the winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest of 2009.
With the beach as the backdrop to the festival, the event promises to be an unforgettable summer festival for pop and rock lovers alike. Make a day our of it and spend the morning discovering Scheveningen before heading down the beach for the festival?
A word from the organisers: Don’t forget your swimming trunks or bikini for a refreshing dip in the sea!
The Schollenpop area is located next to the Southern breakwater.
